QuickBooks - Finding transactions

May 28, 2009 4:34 pm | Posted by admin

When you create your QuickBooks File in the 2008 version of QuickBooks you will notice that the QuickBooks software doesn’t provide a find button on your ICON bar.

To add a find button select View from the list across the top of your screen and select  ICON bar. You can add the Find button (or add / delete buttons from the ICON bar) and improve the set up of QuickBooks to suit your needs.

QuickBooks - Remittance Advice

1:19 pm | Posted by admin

It can be difficult to locate Remittance Advices in QuickBooks. You would expect this function to be available in the supplier section. If you wish to send a remittance advice on payment to a supplier select File / Print Forms / Remittance Advice.

In QuickBooks versions up to and including 2008 you cannot create a template for a remittance.

QuickBooks Training - Chelmsford

It’s always nice to revisit clients and see the progress made. Equally nice to see a  file I set up in 2005 is still working well.

One of the most complex QuickBooks structures I have created due to the complexity of the business (the file records / manages  client monies and liabilities to insurance principles).

As you would expect the main focus of the day concentrating on reconciling and guidance following change of principle business structure and personel.

QuickBooks Training - Brighton

May 14, 2009 2:15 pm | Posted by admin

My second visit to Brighton within a month and to businesses within 1/2 a mile of each other (but no connection).

The weather didn’t live up to the seaside atmosphere but I did get the opportunity to walk along the seafront. Took the scenic route back avoiding the traffic on the M25. I suspect the M25 would have been quicker.
