Unless you have converted your QuickBooks File from an earlier version you will not automatically  have a find button on your Icon bar in QuickBooks 2008. Add a button via view on the top drop down row. Visit our Quickbooks Training Pages for more tips.

When you create your QuickBooks File in the 2008 version of QuickBooks you will notice that the QuickBooks software doesn’t provide a find button on your ICON bar.

To add a find button select View from the list across the top of your screen and select  ICON bar. You can add the Find button (or add / delete buttons from the ICON bar) and improve the set up of QuickBooks to suit your needs.
