QuickBooks New user

When a QuickBooks new user arrives on the scene it’s time to set them up a QuickBooks sign in.

Perhaps you have a new member of staff or the Director wants to sign in to QuickBooks. It’s time to consider the security and audit process for your QuickBooks file.

You will already have a secure file with appropriate passwords , notably for the administrator. To maintain the integrity of your Accounting systems you will need to address

1. Who is responsible for the file maintenance (Administator)

2. What power should users have when inputting / reporting in QuickBooks

3. Is your data secure and can you tell who entered/ amended a transaction

4. Do you have processes for data recovery

The video clip below gets you started , addresses setting up a new user in QuickBooks.
